Sophie's latest news HOW TO WRITE YOUR FIRST NOVEL Part two of my monthly Writing Magazine feature, How to Write Your First Novel is now online.
LOVE STORY OF THE YEAR! My latest novel THE WEDDING PARTY has just been shortisted for LOVE STORY OF THE YEAR, an award presented annually by THE ROMANTIC NOVELISTS' ASSOCIATION (members include Joanna Trollope and Katie Fforde). My novel is about a middle aged couple who get married, much to the disapproval of friends and family. It is told through the eyes of four people who are going to the wedding in nine months time - if indeed, it ever takes place! The winner will be announced in the middle of March.
